Williamsburg, with a population of 11,998 is located on the Virginia peninsula in the Hampton Roads area, between Richmond and Newport News. The weather in Williamsburg is temperate and seasonal. Summers are hot and humid with cool evenings. The climate is warm during summer when temperatures tend to be in the 70's° F (25° C). How to Get There

Students should fly into Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Washington DC. From the airport take a Greyhound Bus or Amtrak Train to Williamsburg, Virginia. Once at the station, the students can take a local bus (under $5) or taxi/Uber (approximately under $10) to the International Housing Village located at 900 Capitol Landing Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185.


Students should coordinate their flights so as to arrive at their housing up to five days prior to their Monday job start date. Do not arrive on your job start date.
