How to Get There

There are four major airports in the area to fly into:

 

·          Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

·          LaGuardia International Airport (LGA)

·          John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

·          Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

 

You can either fly into New York or Philadelphia. Most students chose a New York airport since these flights tend to be cheaper and more frequent.

 

From New York (JFK, LaGuardia or Newark International Airports) to Atlantic City:

 

Take a shuttle or cab to the Port Authority in New York City. You can view the shuttle schedule by going to: www.nyairportservice.com (route JFK – Port Authority or LGA – Port Authority). When at the Port Authority, take either the NJ Transit or Greyhound bus going to Atlantic City. You can view the bus schedule by going to www.njtransit.com and www.greyhound.com.

From Philadelphia International Airport to Atlantic City:

 

Take the Septa R1 Airport Express Train to Market East Station. The schedule is available at www.septa.org (click on Regional Rail under the Service and Schedules). The Greyhound Bus Station is located across the street from the Market East Station (11th and Filbert St); ask a Station employee for directions. Once at the Bus Station, you can take either an NJ Transit or Greyhound bus going to Atlantic City. You can view the bus schedule by going to www.njtransit.com and www.greyhound.com.
