About the area-

Students can be prepared for natural beauty and outdoor recreation in rural Big Sky, MT. You will be close to Yellowstone National Park and will live and work in the mountains.  Yellowstone Club provides students with the opportunity to go on free trips to Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, and Boiling River in Yellowstone National Park. Summer activities include Music on Main, the County Fair, holiday celebrations, rodeos, music concerts, farmers markets and more!  The Link Express Bus provides transportation between Big Sky and Bozeman, which is about an hour and a half away. Otherwise, Montana is a vast state with little transportation infrastructure.


Housing costs $125 per week and includes breakfasts every day of the week, 5 dinners per week, free gym facilities, free Wi-Fi, and free transportation to/from work and to Bozeman and Big Sky!  Housing is located near Bozeman, a university town with a young, vibrant culture, where there is access to shopping, great restaurants, and nightlife.



What is the weather like in Big Sky, Montana?

Winter weather in Big Sky is usually cold and snowy.  Average daytime temperatures are 25°F (-4°C) and nighttime temperatures can drop to around 10°F (-12°C).  Snow is very common in the winter months.  Plan to pack warm layers such as sweaters, scarves, mittens or gloves, hats, and of course a warm snow jacket, boots, and pants!  For more information on the current weather in Big Sky, please visit

How to Get There

Students need to communicate their travel plans with us at least 2 weeks prior to arrival to arrange airport pick-up. Yellowstone Club is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, adjacent to Big Sky, Montana, and Yellowstone National Park. In the dizzying beauty of it all, these landmarks give orientation. Students must fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) in Bozeman, MT. With advance notice, we will pick you up. If we are unable to pick you up, you will need to book a hotel room at your own expense at Holiday Inn Bozeman. Call the FREE hotel shuttle for details 406-587-4561. The cost is around $80.00 per night and will be your responsibility.
