Lafayette Hotels Fireside Portland

Located in Portland, Maine, right off Interstate 95, the Fireside Inn and Suites is one of Portland Maine’s travel-friendly lodging facilities locations.  Our guests are coming to Maine mostly during the summer season so we stay very busy!  We are just minutes from a variety of local sights and attractions, from beaches to Portland Head Light, one of the country’s oldest lighthouses, to LL Bean and Portland’s historic old port area.  You can access the public bus system near the hotel to go and visit any of these attractions! We are very excited to welcome J-1 students to work for us this summer. We will provide housing and transportation to and from work. We also are going to provide a city bus pass for all of our students so that you can get to and from housing and into Portland on your days off to explore the city! There is also a "Zoom Bus" that will take passengers from South Portland down to Old Orchard Beach- we'll help you get a bus pass for that transportation, as well!  We will also provide rides down to Old Orchard Beach as part of the cultural exchange events we will plan with our hotels and students in Old Orchard Beach (20 miles away).
