Have outdoor fun and take in some history with Maine’s oldest lighthouse, the Portland Head Light (built during George Washington's presidency, it is the most photographed Lighthouse in the world!). Or, enjoy the sights of Bug Light Park, Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse, both in South Portland, or Two Lights state park. Escape back in time and visit Maine’s only waterfront amusement park, Old Orchard Beach.

If you are interested in different dining experiences you won’t be disappointed - Portland’s Old Port District was voted America’s Foodiest Small Town in 2009 by Bon Appetit Magazine. Portland was also named a top 3 city in the US by Travel & Leisure Magazine for ‘America’s best beer cities’. Shopaholics can indulge at the LL Bean Store – Freeport, ME, just 20 minutes North of Portland. With so many great attractions nearby, you will never be short of things to see and do.

Discover the Old Port, which dates back to the very founding of the city, and continues to be a working waterfront with markets, docks and cruises. Bring your walking shoes and enjoy its vibrant shops, and fun cruises. Enjoy sailing, taking a ferry to one of many nearby islands off our coast, or go whale watching.
