What is the weather like in West Yellowstone, Montana?


On average, there are 191 sunny days per year in West Yellowstone. Average daytime temperatures vary from 28°F (−2°C) in January to 84.5°F (29.2°C) in July. Heavy snowstorms may occur as early as September or as late as May, though most snow falls from November to March. Throughout the state, summer nights are generally cool and pleasant. How to Get There

Students should inform their employer of their travel plans at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. It is recommended that students fly into Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in Salt Lake City, UT between 8:00am-8:00pm. Once students have arrived at the airport, they should take the Salt Lake Express to West Yellowstone, MT. The cost should be around $75.00. If students fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) in Bozeman, MT, they need to make a reservation with Karst Stage and take the bus to West Yellowstone. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours ahead of time and you can call 1-800-287-4759 for more information.
