About Chincoteague:

This small scenic town off the coast of Virginia is known for the wild ponies that roam free. Tourists come to stay in small hotels and bed and breakfasts and enjoy the peaceful small town feel of Chincoteague. Chincoteague Island National Wildlife Refuge is one of the most visited refuges in the country.  There are trails that you can explore by foot or on a bicycle.

Enjoy events throughout the summer including Chincoteague Volunteer Firemen's Carnival, Chincoteague Volunteer's Seafood Festival, Firework, Blueberry Festival and the Wild Pony Swim. Please know that this is a remote location but tends to hold a fair amount of weekend events going on throughout the summer.
