Position Offered : Rental/Retail Associate

English Language Level : (6) Advanced
Qualification : • Previous cash handling experience required
• Prior experience with RTP preferred
* Exceptional people and language skills; good communication skills are required
• Must have basic mathematical skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percents
• Must maintain neatly, groomed appearance, abide by the uniform policy
• Basic computer experience helpful

Position Description: • Provide exceptional guest service and address guest service needs and guide them with regard to their options for purchases
• Assess store needs, based on volume and guest concentration, move from station to station within a single shift, to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Merchandising and store preparedness, building and maintaining displays and store presentation
• Inventory control, restocking products, and tracking theft (theft prevention) and product movement
• Check email to ensure that they are up-to-date on Company and department and events and information
• Additional responsibilities depending on specifics per shop, for example running errands, attending special meetings, store organization, cleaning, and trash removal, etc.
• Safety and security awareness and protocol
• Seeking education and product knowledge through literature that comes with product, on-line product sites and attending company sponsored clinics
• Daily cash handling and reporting
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification : Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:
• Must enjoy working with children
• Previous ski or snowboard experience preferred
• Previous preschool experience preferred (3-6 years old)
• Must provide a safe, fun, learning environment
• Maintain positive and patient attitude with parents, children, co-workers under stressful conditions
• Willingness to work in a high volume and often stressful environment
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc:
• To teach skiing/riding with safety and welfare of students being of primary importance
• Safe keeping and return of proper equipment with children at end of lesson
• Safe receipt and drop off of children at the end of lesson, whether with parent/guardian or daycare facility
• Recording of tickets and hours at the end of each day
• Care and safekeeping of company-owned uniform
• Proper completion of incident reports in accordance with departmental and company manuals
• Attendance at designated meeting times on days scheduled to work
• Performance of various activities as required by Kids Vacation Center and/or Ski Company Management
• Provide guest with general company information
• Attendance at required orientation and training sessions
• Knowledge of all posted information and that which is contained in the instructor manual
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Other duties, as assigned
