Position Description: PRIOR SKI TEACHING EXPERINCE OR SKI SKILLS NOT REQUIRED, HOWEVER STRONG INTEREST IN LEARNING HOW TO SKI, TEACH AND WORK WITH CHILDREN IS A MUST. ADVANCED ENGLISH AND OUTGOING PERSONALITY REQUIRED!
Responsibilities include teaching the techniques of skiing/snowboarding in a group or individual setting. Assist guests with the process from the beginning to the end of the programmed session, which may include check in, on-snow instruction, lunch, snacks, activities and check out.
• Conduct both group and private ski/snowboard lessons for guests in accordance with the guidelines established by the resort.
• Demonstrate and communicate proper skiing/snowboarding techniques and safety.
• Promote and act as a role model in the area of the responsibility code, safety and risk awareness as prescribed by resort's safety policies.
• Assist the skiing and riding public whenever possible.
• Assist with organizing and dividing classes as requested by supervisor.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in daily safety and service meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
• Adapt to flexible working hours.

Position Description: Lift Attendants & Operators are responsible for orchestrating a wonderful mountain adventure for each and every guest. Ability to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly and courteous manner is a must! This involves engaging non-verbally and verbally with each guest to create amazing memories and experiences. Specific responsibilities include the safe loading and operation of uphill transportation and ticket validation.
Essential Job Functions
• Greet and welcome each guest
• Provide directions and information regarding lift operations
• Respond to all guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Follow all lift opening and closing procedures
• Necessary ramp maintenance and preparation
• Insure all safety signs, mats, and safety cones are in place.
• Insure all seat pads are clear and safe
• Ensure all guests have the proper access products for each lift.
• Engage guests in fun activities when lift lines are particularly long.
• Have amenities readily available
• Keep lift shacks clean and neat, tools stored properly, trash emptied, and lift area well landscaped
• Dry erase boards are up to date and clocks set properly
• Close and open maze lanes for effective maze operation, assist in maze orchestration
• Observe skiers, especially beginners and children. Give verbal and non-verbal commands as needed to help guide skiers
• Attend required team meetings
• Must be able to make split second decisions regarding stopping or slowing the lift to ensure guest safety

Position Description: Retail/Rentals associates will be responsible for providing friendly and knowledgeable service to our guests at all times. Duties will include: greeting guests, assisting customers as they are shopping or renting, fulfilling rental requests (making sure ski/snowboard gear is matched to the needs of each customer) keeping work areas neat, clean, and safe, handling cash and credit cards on a cash register, and other duties as assigned. This is a fast-paced job in a sometimes noisy, crowded environment but is a fun job for anyone who enjoys talking to a wide variety of people.

Position Description: Parking Attendants are the first employee that most Stratton guests make contact wtih. They are responsible for organizing parking lots and controlling how and where guests park and their navigation upon arrival and departure from the resort.
Essential Job Functions
• Prepare parking lots for guest arrival.
• Maintain appropriate signage, directional aids, barricades, cones, etc.
• Help control traffic as guests enter and exit parking lots.
• Direct guests into designated parking spaces.
• Greet guests once they are parked.
• Assist guests in boarding and exiting shuttles.
• Control access to restricted parking areas
• Assist with cleaning Stratton's shuttle buses during non-peak times
