•Housekeepers serve as a representative of our company and must display courtesy, respect, tact, and discretion in all interactions with other employees, owners, guests, and members of the local community.
Position Description: Clean guest rooms, common areas, restrooms to hotel standards. Students will work in groups of 2 - 4 and will be given 15 - 30 minutes to clean a designated area (depending on size). The more students excel at cleaning (cleaning well and in allotted amount of time) the more hours will become available to them should there be extra hours available.

•Resort Workers must have a high attention to detail, math/counting skills, and accurate money/cash handling skills.
•Must have strong communication skills, a friendly, positive attitude and be dedicated to customer service.
•Must be attentive to guests and highly knowledgeable about the property in order to assist guests.
•Basic computer skills required.
•Must be able to work individually or on a team and at a quick pace.
•Must be flexible and able to work where they are needed.

Position Description: All students hired as a Resort Worker will interview with Wilderness upon arrival to determine which department they will work in. Students must be willing to work as a Food & Beverage or Retail Cashier. Position duties may include food preparation or selling of goods.
Customer service knowledge; handling US currency; stocking shelves; cleaning store and other duties as assigned.
he actual position of a Resort Worker will be determined upon arrival to the property. Efforts will be made to place employees in their first job choice but this is not a guarantee. Individual job duties will be given once position has been assigned. Resort Workers may be assigned to one of the following:
•Food and Beverage
•Admissions
•Retail sales
•Facility cleaning
All employees will be responsible for the following:
•Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints of guests.
•Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages, and potential safety hazards.
•Attend departmental and team meetings as well as participate in all additional training courses.
•Perform all duties in a safe manner.
•Employees may be asked to move to different locations or job assignments within the property, as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualification : The Red Cross Certification Course lasts for 28 hours and is required. In order to be a Lifeguard certified by the American Red Cross, students must be able to swim 300 continuous yards (275 meters) - including 100 yards of Freestyle (front crawl), 100 yards of Breaststroke, 100 yards of any combination of those two strokes. They must also swim 20 yards (either Freestyle or Breaststroke), retrieve a 10-pound (4.5 kilos) object from 7(2.2 meters) feet of water, and return 20 yards while holding it above the water with both hands and keeping their head above water. Students will also need to be able to tread water for 2 minutes using just their legs. In addition, the participants must possess an above-average English level due to the fact that the course, study materials and exams are all given in English. We do not provide a translator during the entire course, including exams.
Any students that do not pass the Lifeguard Certification Course may be transferred to another department depending upon staffing needs. However, if the number of failed participants is excessive they may be released from their agreement.
Position Description: Lifeguards are responsible for providing friendly customer service to waterpark guests while ensuring their safety. The job will include maintaining the established standards of performance, service, hospitality, cleanliness and safety in the pool/waterpark area at all times to maximize guest satisfaction. Wilderness lifeguards are responsible for communicating with guests on resort amenities and procedural standards. Lifeguards represent the face of the resort and should always be confident in guest interaction. Ensure guest safety in indoor pools and amusements.
Students not passing the certification for lifeguard will be placed as a slide attendant.
